Groundwater and Soil Remediation
Author: Michael Penzo
This timed and monitored recorded webinar presents an overview of groundwater and soil remediation. Since the early 1980s groundwater scientists and engineers have developed a number of techniques for both containing and remediating soil and groundwater contamination.
In the United States this has been driven by the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) and the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA or Superfund).
In Massachusetts, this has been driven by MGL Chapter 21E and the Massachusetts Contingency Plan. Other states have their own specific laws and regulations related to the assessment and remediation of contaminated sites.
Once you complete your course review, you need to take a multiple-choice quiz consisting of fifteen (15) questions to earn 2 PDH credit.
PDH-Pro’s “Timed and Monitored” courses meet the Ohio board requirements (Ohio R.C. section 4733.151). As required, we track hours and provide a certificate of completion that indicates the course is “timed and monitored” to facilitate your renewal. We guarantee course acceptance.
