Continuing Education Requirements for WV PEs
Engineering licensure and continuing education requirements are regulated by the West Virginia State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers. Engineers are required to earn 30 Professional Development Hours (PDH) during each biennial period. Registrants are allowed to carry over a maximum of 15 PDHs to the next renewal period. The Engineering Board does not have specific requirements for allowable CEU courses. All professional engineer licenses must be renewed on December 31st of even-numbered years.
