Other States
Currently, only six state boards pre-approve continuing education providers. PDH-Pro is an approved provider in all six of these states as noted above. None of the other state boards have a program in place to pre-approve specific course providers or specific courses. PDH-Pro courses have been accepted for PDH credit by all the state boards that do not pre-approve course providers. Ultimately, the engineer is responsible for determining whether an activity meets the guidelines set forth by the state board. Record Keeping
It is generally the engineer’s responsibility to maintain records of continuing education activities and to submit the records to the board upon request. PDH-Pro keeps records for eight years, which exceeds the requirements of all states that mandate continuing education for engineers.
