Building Energy Codes

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) supports and participates in the model building energy code development processes administered by the ASHRAE and the International Code Council. This course reviews the code adaptation process of these agencies and presents the impact that these codes have on building design and construction practices. This Building Energy Codes Course is designed for engineers and other professionals who design commercial and residential buildings and systems and who interpret and apply building energy codes to these projects.

Once you complete your course review, you need to take a multiple-choice quiz consisting of fifteen (15) questions to earn 2 PDH credits.
