Changing Climate: Allergies and Asthma

Changing Climate: Allergies and Asthma

This timed and monitored recorded webinar investigates the health impacts of climate change and how it impacts allergies and asthma. This course explores the connection between climate change and key areas of our health.

The burning of fossil fuels causes the release of carbon dioxide, which builds up in the atmosphere and causes Earth’s temperature to rise—this is climate change. Some of these weather-related changes have far-reaching environmental, social, agricultural, and economic effects and are ultimately harmful to our health and well-being. Two health conditions that are particularly affected by climate change are allergies and asthma.

Once you complete your course review, you need to take a multiple-choice quiz consisting of ten (10) questions to earn 1 PDH credit.
