Climate Change - IPCC 2014 Report

Climate Change – IPCC 2014 Report

This course provides an integrated view of climate change as presented by Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). It reviews in detail the causes of climate change and presents a summary of the risks and likely impacts climate change represents. The IPCC outlines the emissions reductions that are required over the next few decades to reduce climate risks in the 21st century and beyond, increase prospects for effective adaptation, reduce the costs and challenges of mitigation in the longer term and contribute to climate-resilient pathways for sustainable development.

This course includes a video that was prepared to enhance the dissemination and understanding of IPCC reports related to climate change. It includes presentations by the IPCC Chair, Co-chairs and subject-matter experts given at major climate change related meetings.

Once you complete your course review, you need to take a multiple-choice quiz consisting of fifty (50) questions to earn 10 PDH credits.
