This package was designed specifically for Florida environmental engineers looking to satisfy all of the Professional Development Hours (PDH) required by the Florida Board of Professional Engineers. Currently, engineers must obtain 18 hours of continuing education annually. Of the required 18 hours, one hour must relate to the Florida laws and rules of Professional Engineers from a Board-approved provider, and one hour must relate to professional ethics. Four hours must relate to area of practice. The remaining 12 hours may be related to any topic pertinent to the practice of engineering.

This course covers the laws and rules governing the practice of engineering as defined in Chapter 471, Florida Statutes. It addresses all the recent changes to the laws and rules that govern the practice of engineering in the state of Florida.
ET-02-101 Engineering Ethics – 1 PDH
This course presents the philosophical models that guide ethical behavior and examines the standards of ethical conduct in a variety of situations. Decisions from the NSPE Board of Review are reviewed to provide insights into proper ethical behavior.
