Fluid Flow
Fluid flow and practical fluid mechanics are essential to many engineering problems. This course provides an overview of the basic principles of fluid flow including the three key attributes required to solve fluid flow problems. Bernoulli’s Equation is discussed in detail to provide a basis for understanding the different types of energy in a fluid stream. Laminar and turbulent flow, head loss, and other factors affecting head loss are discussed in detail and explained with practical problems.
In this 4-hour online course, detailed information on the principles of fluid is presented. This course presents the relationship between the different types of energy in a fluid stream through the use of Bernoulli’s equation. The training material also discusses the causes of head loss in fluid systems and what factors affect head loss.
Once you complete your course review, you need to take a multiple-choice quiz consisting of twenty (20) questions to earn 4 PDH credit.
