ET-02-001 Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct – 2 PDH
This course presents the philosophical models that guide ethical behavior and examines the standards of ethical conduct in a variety of situations. Decisions from the NSPE Board of Review are reviewed to provide insights into proper ethical behavior.

ET-02-811 Illinois Sexual Harassment Prevention Training – 1 PDH
This course meets the requirements of Section 1130.400 of the Illinois Administrative Code, which requires all professional engineers and structural engineers to complete a 1 hour course in sexual harassment training.

GE-02-301 Bearing Capacity of Soils I – 5 PDH
This course provides guidelines for calculating the bearing capacity of soil beneath shallow and deep foundations supporting various types of structures and embankments.

GE-02-110 Soils and Geology Procedures for Foundation Design of Buildings – 5 PDH
This course presents guidance for selecting and designing foundations and associated features for buildings, retaining structures, and machinery.

GE-02-501 Design and Construction of Cut and Cover Road Tunnels – 3 PDH
This course presents the construction methodology and excavation support systems for cut-and-cover road tunnels, describes the structural design in accordance with the AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications, and discusses various other design issues. It includes a design example that reinforces the design elements of the course.

GE-02-210 Repaid of Rigid Pavements Using Epoxy Resin Grouts, Mortars and Concretes – 2 PDH
This course provides a basis for the design and improvement of the structural quality and workability of soils used for base courses, subbase courses, select materials, and subgrades for pavements construction. The training materials include analysis of materials, criteria, and procedures for rapid repair of uncontrolled cracks and spalls in rigid pavements by using epoxy resin grouts, mortars, and concretes.

GE-02-230 Rock Engineering – 12 PDH
This course reviews the history and development of rock engineering and presents the current state of the practice for topics including probability of failure, factor of safety, and determining the acceptable design criteria for construction in rock.
