This package was designed specifically for Indiana chemical engineers looking to satisfy all of the Professional Development Hours (PDH) required by the Indiana Board of Licensure of Professional Engineers and Professional Land Surveyors. This course provides a review of the rules and regulations for Engineers registered in Indiana as prescribed in a compilation of both the Indiana Code and Indiana Administrative Code.

CH-02-600 Biomass Oil Analysis – 9 PDH
This course presents a detailed analysis of the state of the US renewable energy sector as it relates to biomass oil. The training material is based on the United States Department of Energy’s (DOE) Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) “Biomass Oil Analysis: Research Needs and Recommendations”.

CH-02-210 Introduction to Valves – 4 PDH
This course provides about the basic components of a valve and their functions. The training literature provides information about each of the types of valves in common use, the globe, gate, plug, ball, needle, butterfly, diaphragm, pinch, check, safety/relief, and reducing valve.
