This live webinar will establish, through slides and discussions, the chronology of the Panama Canal project, engineering and economic challenges addressed by the project, as well as the many benefits that Panama Canal delivered. The canal project was the object of intense public interest at the time of construction and became the subject of numerous books then and since.

August 15, 2014 marked the 100th anniversary of the opening of the Panama Canal, a tremendous engineering endeavor that has played a major role in trade and commerce over its hundred years. The canal was a feat of engineering, connecting two oceans in a way that made shipping and commerce faster and more economical.

This 2 PDH online live webinar is intended for civil, structural, mechanical, and environmental engineers, as well as design and construction personnel. The webinar includes statistical data and a number of illustrations.
