Lockout Tagout
This course provides the student with information required for authorized employees under the OSHA lockout/tagout standard (Control of Hazardous Energy, Code of Federal Regulations as Title 29 Part 1910.147). It covers all hazardous energy sources and techniques to control hazardous energy. It presents the employer’s obligations under the OSHA standard and reviews the employee’s obligations to follow the requirements. It provides detailed information about energy control procedures, energy control devices, and lockout/tagout equipment and procedures. This Lockout/Tagout Course is designed for engineers and other professionals who work in commercial and industrial facilities where lockout/tagout procedures are used or required.
Once you complete your course review, you need to take a multiple-choice quiz consisting of ten (10) questions to earn 1 PDH credit.
