New Mexico Engineering Ethics and Regulations

This course provides a comprehensive review of the mandatory New Mexico Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct for licensed Professional Engineers renewing their license in the State of New Mexico. It meets the requirements of the New Mexico Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers and Professional Surveyors for continuing education. Per New Mexico Administrative Code Chapter 16, every Professional Engineer must complete two (2) PDHs in the area of ethics biennially.

The covered topics include an overview of the 2012 New Mexico Engineering and Surveying Practice Act and the 2015 New Mexico Administrative Code, Title 16. This course provides an overview of the rules and regulations for practicing engineering in the state of New Mexico. At the conclusion of this course, the student will have a better understanding of the rules of professional conduct, continuing education requirements and other regulatory provisions required by the New Mexico Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers and Professional Surveyors..
