This course presents an overview of the South Carolina statutes and regulations for professional engineers. It summarizes the requirements for professional engineers established by the South Carolina State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Surveyors.

This course presents a detailed analysis of the state of the US renewable energy sector as it relates to biomass oil. The training material is based on the United States Department of Energy’s (DOE) Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) “Biomass Oil Analysis: Research Needs and Recommendations”.

CH-02-210 Introduction to Valves – 4 PDH
This course provides about the basic components of a valve and their functions. The training literature provides information about each of the types of valves in common use, the globe, gate, plug, ball, needle, butterfly, diaphragm, pinch, check, safety/relief, and reducing valve.

CH-02-905 Wastewater Design – Granular Activated Carbon Systems – 12 PDH
This course presents the theoretical fundamentals of adsorption technology for water treatment with a focus on experimental adsorption studies, process modeling, and adsorber design.
