Michael A. Penzo, PG, CPG, LSP
Michael A. Penzo, PG, CPG, LSP, is a Licensed Hazardous Waste Site Cleanup Professional (LSP) ) in Massachusetts, a Licensed Professional Geologist (PG) in New Hampshire and a Certified Professional Geologist (CPG) through the American Institute of Professional Geologists. Mr. Penzo has 35 years of experience that includes environmental, hydrogeological and litigation support services for numerous clients in the US and Canada (Newfoundland, Quebec, Ontario and British Columbia). He was recently re-elected to the Board of Directors and is the new President-Elect of the LSP Association. Mr. Penzo is the instructor for a very popular series of live webinars that draw on his expertise in geology, hydrogeology, and environmental science.
Mr. Penzo is an alumnus of Northeastern University (BS Geology) and the State University of New York at Binghamton (MA Geological Sciences).
In addition to his professional activities Mike is an adjunct professor at Bridgewater State University’s Department of Geological Sciences and Northeastern University’s College of Professional Studies where he shares his experience in the fields of hydrogeology and environmental science.
He is currently with Penzo Consulting, a firm that offers expert environmental consulting and hydrogeological services including ASTM Phase I and 2 Environmental Site Assessment services; LSP Services for all Phases of the Massachusetts Contingency Plan; Hydrogeological studies; Litigation support including expert witness deposition and testimony; and environmental permitting services.
