Continuing Education Requirements for KY PEs
Kentucky engineers must complete 30 professional development hours every two years to renew their PE licenses. There are no required continuing education courses, but all content must be related to ethics, management, or technical content relevant to the practicing engineering. The renewal date for PEs is June 30th in odd years for applicants whose last names start with A to K and June 30th in even years for applicants with last names starting with L to Z. A maximum of 15 continuing education hours can carried forward every renewal cycle.
