Continuing Education Requirements for MS PEs
Mississippi professional engineers are required to complete 15 professional development hours, also known as Continuing Professional Competency, every year. All Mississippi engineering licenses are renewed on December 31 every year. Every two years, PEs must earn at least one CPC hour in the topic of ethics. As many as 15 professional development hours can be carried forward to the subsequent renewal period, but excess ethics credits cannot be carried forward.
