Continuing Education Requirements for MT PEs
The Montana Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors is responsible for licensing professional engineers in the State of Montana. The board requires 30 Professional Development Hours of continuing education every two years. Engineers are allowed to carry over a maximum of 15 PDHs to the next renewal period. The professional engineer license renewal deadline is June 30th on even-numbered years. Continuing education courses must have a “clear purpose and objective which will maintain, improve, or expand the skills and knowledge relevant to the licensee’s field of practice.”
