Ethics & Standards of Conduct for New Jersey Engineers
Every New Jersey Professional Engineer is required to complete 2 CPC/PDH of the 15 credits of continuing professional competency (CPC) required biennially in professional practice ethics. This course is designed to help a NJ licensee meet the new 2-hour ethics training for the license renewal.
This two-hour course provides an in-depth review of the statutes governing the practice of engineering in the State of New Jersey as well the ethical standards related to the engineering profession. Students will study the relevant excerpts from Chapter 8 of Title 45 “Professions and Occupations” in the New Jersey Statutes Annotated. In addition, professional misconduct prohibited by the New Jersey Board is presented along with the requirement for reporting such incidents.
NOTE: This course is specifically prepared for the State of New Jersey ONLY. It does NOT fulfill the continuing education requirement for Laws and Rules or Ethics from any other state.
