International Building Code – Soils And Foundations

This course is designed to provide engineers with information regarding the soils and foundation section of the International Building Code. The provisions of this course apply to the building and foundation systems in those areas not subjected to scour or water pressure by wind and wave action. This course covers topics including foundation and soil investigations, excavation and grading activities, and design practices for various types of foundations and soil support systems.

Once you complete your course review, you need to take a multiple-choice quiz consisting of twenty-five (25) questions to earn 5 PDH credits.
