Aerial Lift Safety

Aerial Lift Safety

Fatalities occur during the operation of aerial lifts because workers were poorly trained, did not follow safety procedures, were driving poorly maintained vehicles, or were operating during inclement weather. This course reviews standard operating procedures for aerial lifts and the various types of equipment in use today. It addresses operator training, the use of fall protection, and proper setup of lifts. Working near electrical lines is explored as well as protecting workers from struck-by, crushed-by, or caught-in hazards.

This Aerial Lift Safety Course is designed for engineers and other professionals who work on construction sites and industrial facilities where overhead work is performed. It emphasizes hazard identification and safe work practices that apply to all aerial lift operations.

Once you complete your course review, you need to take a multiple-choice quiz consisting of ten (10) questions to earn 1 PDH credit.
